How I Hacked My Way From Data Entry to System Developer
During my time as a Data Entry Specialist at a BPO company, I discovered a loophole in the Image Review System we were using. Whenever a blurry image appeared for processing, I found that simply exiting and reopening the application would load a new batch of transactions—allowing me to skip all blurry images and maintain an accuracy rate of 99% to 100%, which no one else could achieve. Because of this, I consistently met my quota with exceptionally high accuracy and was eventually recognized for my performance. Interestingly, this ‘hack’ led to my promotion to an IT role and later to a System Developer position, where I ultimately developed a new Image Review System—one that fixed the very loophole I had previously exploited.
